Christmas 2022 I had the pleasure of designing and hand illustrating window displays of Penwortham, Chorley and Fulwood stores. I had the most wholesome experience and amazing convocations with passing people enjoying an old-school live drawing experience. Although I was freezing and distracted and at one point interrupted by the rain, I had the best week. Chatting and drawing was the most fun, Booths is a fantastic company I worked for just over a year. I worked on the deli and nicked blackboards from around the shop and redesigned them purely for fun. When head office rang to ask if Chorley has a local artists my managers suggested me which im so thankful for ... I had no idea what I was doing. Still don't. Its a pretty new art form and confused me when I realised because of the tinted windows I had to work on the outside, against the elements of the English winter. I've since been on a sign writing course and realised how easy wipe-off pens are, as a drawer not a painter I really enjoy chalk pens, its difficult on thick glass but I liked it, it felt wrong like doodling all over a school book.
Just a shame I spent a full week on them and didn't get a single decent picture
