Boards and Murals

From intricate line drawings to bold, large-scale paintings, my hand-painted window displays invite conversation and celebrate creativity and authenticity. I put together bespoke designs based off clients wishes and ideas, or give me full creative freedom. These can be done on the inside or prefrably the outside of the glass for the best impact.

How It Started...

After being noticed for my chalkboard art on the deli at Chorley’s Booths, I was invited to design and create Christmas displays for three Lancashire stores celebrating their 50th anniversary, all in white chalk pen. I was taken by having creative freedom, being able to be outside all day while painting, listening to music and chatting to friendly passers.

A few years on, I started sharing my window art again and it quickly snowballed. I’ve since worked on some really exciting projects. Playing with paint, pen, and colour in all kinds of spaces has helped me grow as an artist, and I love to bring new life to local business’ storefronts.

Whimsical Christmas Kingdom - Greystoke Castle

Greystoke Castle, Penrith, December 2025 Inside the over 1,000-year-old walls of the tearoom, I painted the modern bifolds with a magical Christmas tree design. Tiny elf fairies flitter around, hanging baubles and candy canes, turning the space into a festive little wonderland. It was such a joy to bring a touch of Christmas magic to this spectacular spot!

Book Shop Winters Owl

Verey Book Shop, Pooley Bridge, December 2025 Fueled by coffee and homemade soup, I got to paint a large flying owl across the windows of this beautiful independent bookshop, the beating heart of Pooley Bridge. The staff at the shop wanted the owl to capture the wild soul of winter, a touch of whimsy, perfect in a painterly style. The process was a joy from start to finish.

Christmas Spirit Display - NEAUM Coffee Shop

I got complete creative freedom for this colourful, fun and festive design in central Penrith, meant to catch eyes and lift spirits. From the top step of an unsteady ladder, I enjoyed the winter sun on a jolly day, with lots of lovely stoppers pausing to say hiya. The space I thought was crying out for a pink reindeer, added patterns and friends dashing about with their coffees. I wanted to capture the essence of the shop, creating kind, warm and welcoming feel.

Elegent Line Drawings - Preloved Clothing Shop

Fine white festive illustrations fill the border of this cute storefront in Penrith. Thankfully, this project was inside on a nasty week — the pen ran when I tried tracing the writing outside, which gave me a few head scratches! Still, I thoroughly enjoyed being able to doodle all day for a lovely little independent business.

Book Shop Fleet of foxes

Verey Book Shop, Pooley Bridge, October 2025 My first time let loose with paint solo was a little daunting, but so exciting, especially in the lovely Pooley Bridge. I love this shop, it got the ball rolling and led to some pretty great projects. This piece features a fleet of foxes in the wind, inspired by Richard Osman’s 'We Solve Murders,' book covers designed by Richard Bravery.

Wedding Signs

Chorley - July 2024 Two wedding sign commissions this year were a real joy. One was a Disney-themed wedding, where I designed and hand-drew the couple’s table signs on paper using black fineliner. The other was a more challenging name list on a mirror, tricky with my terrible spelling, but now a permanent fixture in the happy couple’s home!
