Book Shop Winters Owl

Verey Book Shop, Pooley Bridge, December 2025

Fueled by coffee and homemade soup, I got to paint a large flying owl across the windows of this beautiful independent bookshop, the beating heart of Pooley Bridge. The staff at the shop wanted the owl to capture the wild soul of winter, a touch of whimsy, perfect in a painterly style. The process was a joy from start to finish.
