Quiet Site Reception Mind Map Mural

The Quiet Site, Watermillok, June 2026

Inspired by a mind map hanging in the campers' kitchen, this mural welcomes people into the reception and shop with a colourful, playful backdrop. Drawn mainly in black linework with pops of colour, it spreads across the wall and has plenty of room to keep growing as the award-winning campsite continues to evolve.

It was a really collaborative project, created alongside the rest of the Quiet Site crew, and is full of little personal touches, including staff portraits hidden throughout the design. Tucked away in the fells overlooking Ullswater, the mural reflects the friendly, community feel that makes the site so special. A very wholesome and enjoyable project.
